RELAXIN (Bromazepam) mechanism of action on the central nervous system (CNS) is believed to be related to their ability to enhance the activity of Gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA), the major inhibitory neurotransmitter.

Therapeutic Classification RELAXIN (Bromazepam) belongs to a class of drugs called Benzodiazepine.The Benzodiazepine family of depressants is used therapeutically to relieve anxiety and muscle spasms and to prevent seizures.in general benzodiazepines acts as a hypnotics in high doses, anxiolytics in moderate doses and sedative in low doses.
